JNU Professor Kim Jeong-hee (Department of Business Administration, College of Economics & Commerce) received the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award at the ‘2023 Korea Distribution Management Society/Korea Logistics Society Spring Joint Academic Conference’ held at JNU on the 15th of April.

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups presents the award to researchers with excellent research capabilities and contribution to academic and practical development in the local and small distribution industries.

Kim has done a lot of research in the fields of win-win development of distribution companies in Jeju, revitalization of small businesses and traditional markets in Jeju, quality of distribution service, performance of distribution channels, social responsibility of distributors and brand assets.

She also won the Best Academic Paper Award in 2012 and 2021 for publishing excellent papers in the journal of the Distribution Management Association from the Korea Distribution Management Association.

Professor Kim is the vice president of the Korean Marketing Association, the Korean Logistics Association, the Korean Cultural Industry Association, the Korean Consumer Culture Association, and the Korea Distribution Management Association.
