JNU, K-MOOC Leading University for the 3rd Phase

JNU was selected as a leading university for the third phase of the Korean Online Open Course (K-MOOC) in 2023.
JNU will receive KRW 800 million in government subsidies for three years from 2023. With the funds, JNU will develop new courses in various fields such as future technology, bio-industry, computer industry, and humanities courses.
K-MOOC is a large-scale online course platform jointly operated by major universities in Korea, providing free classes in various fields to students around the world.
JNU is expected to further contribute to vitalizing credit exchange for remote classes by developing higher quality new technology and new industry lectures as a leading university for the 3rd stage K-MOOC this time.
JNU Distance Education Center was selected as a leading K-MOOC university in 2017 and has provided 18 courses in various fields. The center plans to take the lead in establishing a new education, research, and industrial cooperation system, such as sharing JNU's expertise and experiences, as well as opening lectures on and off campus and exchanging credits for remote classes.
