The successful candidates for law clerk positions are Kang Min-jung, Kim Ga-young, Geum Kyung-mi, Lee Ji-eun, Park Ha-jin, and Jeon Hye-jeong (all from the 15th cohort). Additionally, Geum Kyung-mi and Choi Joo-young (also from the 15th cohort) secured appointments as prosecutors. Lawyer Kang Seo-yeon (7th cohort) was appointed as an experienced judge.
The JNU Graduate School of Law has shown consistent growth in appointments for law clerks and prosecutors in recent years. The number of successful law clerk applicants has increased steadily: two in 2012, one each in 2021 and 2022, three each in 2023 and 2024, and two in 2025, culminating in the highest number of six in 2026. Prosecutor appointments have also occurred annually.
The systematic and dedicated support provided by the JNU Graduate School of Law has been crucial to these students' success. The school has implemented various support programs, including operating a rigorous preparation team for judicial examinations with dedicated supervisors, and providing customized data and hands-on experience for exam preparation.
