The JNU Future Education & Extracurricular Education Center, led by Director Choi Yeong-jun, successfully concluded its '2025 Extracurricular Education Festival,' which saw 3,700 students participate from October 27 to November 14.
The festival was designed with the goal of revitalizing extracurricular education, fostering inter-departmental cooperation, and strengthening the student support system through various programs designed to enhance JNU students' diverse competencies beyond the classroom.
The festival kicked off with the '3rd Autumn Picnic,' held at the Student Hall and Hallateo area from October 27 to 28, which saw 1,658 students participate. Following this, until November 14, the Center offered a wide array of activities, integrating learning, counseling, and experience-oriented extracurricular programs.
Overall, 12 departments participated, offering a total of 16 programs. These included a variety of customized competency-building programs, each leveraging the specific expertise of the participating departments.
The '3rd Autumn Picnic' was jointly organized by the JNU Student Counseling Center, the Career Employment & University Job Plus Center, and the Extracurricular Education Center, aiming to enhance students' psychological stability, provide career counseling, promote extracurricular programs, and encourage participation.
The '2025 Extracurricular Festival' provided an invaluable opportunity to reaffirm the importance of extracurricular education, boost student engagement in these programs, and expand opportunities for psychological and emotional well-being and career exploration.
