JNU LINC3.0 Project Group (Head Kang Tae-young) held a presentation on the results of the capstone design for the second semester of 2023 at the JNU Industry-Academic Cooperation Center on Dec. 4.

Capstone design is a team project that solves industrial and social problems based on major skills in college. The JNU LINC 3.0 project group holds a presentation of the Capstone design results every semester to share students' excellence and attract corporate investment.

In the event, about 300 students from 69 teams selected through the first evaluation out of a total of 134 teams participated in the project.

The grand prize went to the team Zikim & Hide (supervisor-Kim Ho-chan, Department of Electrical Engineering) with “Yeolsimhi Jiwodeuryeoyo-Eraser for You“. The team developed a personal information eraser exclusively for thermal paper. Besides, a total of 20 teams, including 4 best awards, 5 excellence awards, 5 special awards, and 5 incentive awards, were given through evaluating ideas with high creativity and potential for development.

At the event, a capstone auction was also held, where company officials directly invest in students' excellent project. As a result, a total of 13 investment letters of intent (4 companies/13 teams/KRW 27 million) were submitted. These 13 project ideas will be negotiated and a contract will be signed to transfer technology to the company.
