"Beyond Jeju to the World", Laos Ministry of Technology & Communication

JNU regional leading university development project group (Director Kim Jae-hoon, Molecular Biotechnology) dispatched "2023 GREAT WORLD CAMPUS" overseas interns.
‘GREAT WORLD CAMPUS’ is the program supported by the Jeju Free International City Development Center and operated in connection with and cooperation with the Global Academy of the Korea Intelligence and Information Society Promotion Agency in order to foster Jeju students as global talents. The event provides opportunities for Jeju students to carry out projects to support developing countries abroad, cultivating global capabilities and building practical skills.
Following the dispatch of two interns to Cambodia in 2022, it is being expanded to Indonesia and Laos in 2023, and two interns were sent from each country.
The final selected students Kim Hyung-gun (Machine System Engineering Department 3) and Jujuin (German Studies Department 4) will support ICT infrastructure construction and ODA-related work at the Digital Government Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Technology and Communication in Laos. The selected students expressed the feeling saying, "This is the grateful opportunity for us to grow. We will learn a lot about exchanges and cooperation between the two countries."
