2023 Community Coexistence & Cooperation Poster Contest Awards

The Excellence Poster Competition for ‘2023 Community Coexistence and Cooperation’ was conducted by inviting JNU postdoctoral researchers and graduate students to conduct cases of community coexistence and cooperation activities based on laboratories or research centers on Dec. 7. A total of eight awards were given among the 33 participating teams, including the Best Presentation Award-Grand Prize (JNU President Award).

The Best Presentation Award-Grand Prize (JNU President Award) went to the Upcycle Lab team (Lee Ye-in, Kim Soo-hyuk, Bopitge Udis Rabindu Wizemana) who studied the possibility of using pig blood, a waste of the livestock industry, as a raw material for eel feed.

The winners are as follows; △ Excellece Presentation Award-Best Award (Postgraduate Dean Award)-'Effect of Antioxidant and Anti-inflammatory on Bioactive Components of Carrot (Daucus carotaL.) Leaves from Jejulsland' - 'Cake Leaf Village Crime Stoppers' team (Kim Ji-soo, Kim Dae-kyung, Yang Sun-hee), △Outstanding Presentation Award - Outstanding Award (Industrial-Academic Cooperation Group Award)-"F.I.D.L." team (Lee Young-joon, Lee Eung-joon, Oh Young-eun) and "Dangong" team (Kang Hyun-ji, Hong Ye-young, Noorija Aryani Binti Morsidi), △Outstanding Exhibition Award - Outstanding Award (Academic Cooperation Group Award)-"The Ambassador's Laboratory" team (Kim Ji-won and Yoon Sun-young), △Outstanding Exhibition Award - Incentive Award (BK Education Research Group Award)-"Korean PET" team (Jo Sang-man, Choi Yuri, Moon Jung-hyun), "Theophilus" team (Party Two Pillars), and "Mighty Health Warrior" team (Paruki Muhammad Ahwais)

The competition was designed to discover excellent research cases that have contributed to the industry and Jeju local communities in relation to the social role of JNU and to coexist and cooperate with Jeju communities.

In particular, the purpose the competition is to increase graduate students' motivation for research by publicizing graduate-centered research cases and to promote excellent cases to promote research contributing to the Jeju community.

President Kim Eel-hwan said, "JNU hopes that this poster competition will further revitalize research on co-prosperity and cooperation with the Jeju community."
