JNU University Job Plus Center (JNU UJPC) was the only institution of all national universities to receive the highest grade of ‘Excellence’ for two consecutive years at ‘2023 University Job Plus Center Annual Performance Evaluation (Regional Base)’, which was organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Employment Information Service, and supported by Jeju Special Self-Governing Province.

JNU carried out the ‘University Job Center project’ from 2016 to 2021. In 2022, it was selected as a ‘Regional Base University’ for the UJPC as a follow-up project. JNU has been continuously striving to provide career employment support services such as 'integrated linkage counseling, subject, non-subject program, and job matching' to JNU students, graduates, and local youth.

In this evaluation, JNU was highly valued for establishing and expanding consumer-centered counseling and programs, providing integrated services for career employment support such as job and career fairs through collaboration with local related organizations, and systematically operating competency education programs linked to local major industries.

Song Yoon-hee, Director of JNU UJPC, said, "In 2023, JNU UJPC operated a variety of customized career employment programs for each target and job, including 'WIDE JOB FAIR', an employment information fair linked to a university festival, 'Career, Psychology, Academic (Up) Hope Camp' and 'JNU Napeulnapeul Academy', job competency education for incumbent workers." In addition, it laid the foundation for internalization by expanding collaboration programs through ‘Regional Base University’ consultative bodies with related organizations.” She also added, “JNU UJPC will actively promote the planning and operation of beneficial programs in order for local youth to grow into excellent talents and get a job in 2024."
