- 35 Masters of Laws for Jeju's Future

JNU Graduate School of Law (Dean Lee Yun-seok) held ‘2023 Commencement Ceremony’ in the auditorium of the School of Law on Jan. 15.

35students earned Masters of Law degrees in the ceremony. JNU Vice President Kim Dong-jeon, Jeju District Court Chief Kim Soo-il, Dean Lee Yun-seok, Jeju District Attorney Huh Sang-soo, general director of the alumni association and third alumni lawyers attended the event to congratulate the graduate.

In his congratulatory speech, Jeju District Court Chief Justice Kim Soo-il asked them to strive to ensure that the law applies correctly in light of sound common sense. Adding, "The legal profession's path is hard and difficult, but it is also a rewarding and valuable path." He also cheered them on in the future, saying that he hoped they would grow into good legal professionals.

Vice President Kim Dong-jeun asked them to be a true leader who not only excels in legal knowledge, but also has a warm heart for people, who are trusted and respected.

At the ceremony, each winner is as follows; Lim Chan-ho received JNU President's Award, Lee Min-hyeong - Jeju District Court's President Award, Kim Young-dae – Dean’s Award, Park Jin-sol - Alumni president of JNU Law School Award, Kim Eui-jung- Seoul Bar Association President Award.

In addition, the Alumni of JNU Graduate School of Law delivered a development fund (KRW 20million) to JNU in order to foster legal professionals.
