2023 JNU Spring Commencement Ceremony’ was held with a total of 1,822 graduates including 49 doctoral students, 297 master’s students, and 1,476 undergraduate students at the JNU Aramuse Hall on Feb. 16.

During his congratulatory address, JNU president Kim Eel-hwan asked graduates to adhere to their conscience, persevere in facing challenges, and cultivate a considerate attitude towards others.

At the event, awards were given to outstanding graduates in the recognition of their academic achievements and research contributions. A total of 132 were presented for their exceptional achievements; 8 President's Commendation for outstanding students in self-governance activity, 17 President Awards for outstanding academic achievement, 3 President Awards for outstanding research, 3 President's Awards for best thesis, 16 Dean's Award for outstanding research, academic excellence, and an excellent thesis, 85 Dean's Award for academic excellence.
