Cho Sung-ho, CEO of Gongyoung Home Shopping Co., Ltd., visited JNU (President Kim Eel-hwan) on May 13 and delivered KRW 10 million to JNU Department of Journalism & Public Relations.
Gongyoung Home Shopping Co., Ltd. was founded in 2015. Recently recognized as a public institution under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, it differs significantly from private home shopping companies. Globally, it's uncommon for a public institution to operate in the home shopping sector, offering a marketplace for SMEs, farmers, and fishermen facing market entry challenges. The company is committed to upholding ‘Values of Fairness and Public Interest’, making consistent efforts to embody these principles.
Furthermore, the company is actively promoting 'ESG management', which is one of the most significant practical tasks for future generations. It is striving to set an example for ESG management in public institutions by raising awareness of eco-friendliness, embracing social values, and fostering a culture of trust within the organization.
