JNU (President Kim Eel-hwan) and the Korea Financial Intelligence Service (Director Park Yong-joo) signed a MOU at JNU to collaborate on fostering local talent and promoting community development in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province.

Through the MO, both institutions agreed to cooperate on jointly operating employment and entrepreneurship programs, supporting startups through government-funded projects, and conducting educational programs in the fields of information protection and finance to nurture local talent. After the signing ceremony, Director Park Yong-joo of the Korea Financial Intelligence Service, along with officials from the Gwangju-Jeolla Regional Financial Support Center, and JNU staff had an opportunity to exchange business matters.

JNU President Kim Eel-hwan said, "This agreement will serve as an opportunity for JNU students and companies to actively engage in education and research with financial information. In addition, this opportunity will help the transparent and efficient utilizaton of national subsidies."
