The National Research Foundation of Korea has its homepage featuring Professor Kim Sang Jae and his Research team of the JNU Department of Mechatronics Engineering with a catch phrase like “research that’s tangible for people.”

The foundation noted on its website that currently, miniaturizing electrical devices are limited as long as electrical generation and its storage are manufactured separately, and that Professor Kim Sang Jae and his research team came up with a device that carries electrical generation and its storage (batteries) integrated in one functioning unit.
