Jeju vernacular to be taught for cultural tourism illustrators
Jeju National University Korean Language Culture Institute (Bae Young Hwan, Director) plans to conduct Jeju vernacular education for the benefits of Jeju cultural tourism illustrators supported by Jeju Autonomous Government: It runs from June 23 until 22 chapters (78 hours) are covered.
The education program features “Jeju Vernacular: General Introduction,” “Public Lectures in Jeju Vernacular,” “Culinary Culture and Jeju Vernacular,” and “Jeju “Gut” rituals,” and other topics and site visits (completing 22 chapters in 78 hours).
The education program will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays every week in JNU College of Humanities Hall #2.
The Korean Language Culture Institute aims to produce the cultural tourism illustrators proficient in Jeju vernacular necessary for a variety of Jeju vernacular related activities.
