Practical Training Center operates public service jobs program

Jeju National University On-Site Practical Training Center (Suh Kyu Beom, Director) plans to run a on-the-job experience program for public service organizations and industries, and related industrial businesses during July~August 2020.

This program is part of the regional flagship university development leaders training project to be Operated under the consortium of public service organization, industries and regional universities.

The on-the-job experience program will be implemented through Government Employees Pension Service, National Information Society Agency, Korea Foundation, Overseas Koreans Foundation, Jeju International Free City Development Center, Jeju Tourism Organization, and Jeju Energy Corporation.

Students participating in the program learn and experience a variety of job-related tools and office protocols such as statistics and job trends data, diplomatic trends, tourism related products, computational tasks, customs duties, etc.

Deadline for application is June 17, 2020. Any student enrolled in a regional university affiliated with the regional flagship university development project is eligible to apply at a participating university academic department. Cost for the program is subsidized by the sponsors.

Director Suh urged the students to take advantage of the experience gaining opportunities at attractive public and government service job places.
