Students and teachers get together to discuss quality of education

교육수요자 만족도 조사결과 설명회 및 ‘소통의 장’ 마련 Education survey results explained and “communication platform” arranged

Jeju National University Educational Satisfaction Management Center (Professor Kim Hwa Nyun, Director) held a review session to discuss the education satisfaction survey results and pondered issues to improve the quality of education last Wednesday (June 10, 2020).

The session produced a variety of opinions about the issues raised from the survey results in improving the quality of education and institutional advancement through discussion among the assistant instructors, students and faculty/staff.

Professor Lee Joon Young of the Department of Journalism and Public Relations who participated in the educational survey said that the surveys conducted for each group of instructors, students, graduates, and industry representatives were especially important in understanding the purpose of the surveys.

Mr. Kang Dong Wook of the Department of Economics agreed with the above assessment by saying that the survey identified the issues for improving the educational satisfaction, especially through the free discussion involving facilitators.

The university has been conducting the educational consumer surveys in identifying and implementing improvements in education, and that this year’s survey was particularly significant in that the educational consumers, i.e., students, were included in the survey.
