Inter-Provincial cooperation in regional development explored

제주-전북 사업단, 25일 전북대서 공동 워크숍 Joint workshop runs in Chonbuk University

To explore the cooperative ways between the JNU and Chonbuk National Universities to facilitate the 2^nd year regional flagship university development projects, two provincial leading institutions hold a joint workshop.

Jeju National University has been operating the regional flagship university development project sponsored by the Ministry of Education since 2019. The university now extend its activities for the 2nd year project in collaboration with other provincial leading universities.

On the other hand, the Chonbuk Province consortium has been working with the central government agencies relocated to Jeonju and Naju for the cooperative educational project in the area of agriculture and biosciences.

Not having the regionally relocated central government agencies, Jeju National University has been experiencing difficulties in meeting the programmatic and educational needs for the 4^th industrial revolutionary era. Thus, the Jeju provincial project member explores the ways to solve the problem through the joint workshop with the Chonbuk consortium.

Director Lee expects the workshop opens up the opportunity to share personnel and material resources with the Chonbuk National University.
