㈜김정문알로에와 ‘알로에 부산물 활용 연구성과 세미나’개최
Seminar on aloe byproducts held with Kim Jung Moon Aloe

Jeju National University Intellectual Properties Education Leading University Project (Kim In Joong, Director) held a knowledge-extended seminar on aloe byproducts with Kim Jung Moon Aloe (Ltd), JNU Subtropical Agriculture and Bioscience Institute, and JNU Faculty of Biotechnology Biomaterials Majors Program in Ramada Plaza Hotel last week (June 18, 2020).

In conjunction with the seminar, staff of the Kim Jung Moon Aloe company visited the JNU research facilities for discussion last Friday (June 19, 2020).

The two groups collaborated on the products manufactured from aloe byproducts for commercial benefits, and decided to continue the research and development studies to explore the value- added aloe byproducts.

The first line of products soon to be marked includes mask pack and aloe beverage.

Director Kim emphasized the importance of intellectual property rights in advance of the Commercialization plans.

The Kim Jung Moon Aloe company was founded in Jeju in 1989, and built its first manufacturing’ Plant to produce aloe related to products in 2015.
