Library presents certificate of appreciation to Prof. Son for book gifts

“제주도 인재들이 디자인 분야에서도 좋은 성과이루길” “Wishing the best for Jejuans for design field”

Jeju National University Central Library (Kim So Mi, Head Librarian) presented a certificate of appreciation to Son Young Soo, Professor Emeritus, for his gifts of books to the library last Tuesday (July 14, 2020).

Professor Son donated 170 books in design, architecture, packaging, and the ‘Environmental Design Best Collections’ series to the library.

He joined the JNU faculty in 1988, and served as a professor in the design field until he retired in 2015. He said the books he donated to the library are helpful for the students in industrial design program to strengthen their knowledge and design skills.
