SW사업단, 취업 코딩 특강 및 해커톤 대회 개최
SW Project sponsors job coding and hackathon conference

Jeju National University Software (SW) Specializing University Project (Song Wang Cheol, Director and Professor, Computer Engineering Majors) held a seminar on the topic “jobs algorithm and algorithm hackathon in the College of Engineering #3 Hall auditorium with the project affiliated departments of computer engineering, computational statistics, computer education and management information last week (July 7~9, 2020.

The term hackathon refers to a synthesis of “hacking and marathon” for the long hours of online “baek joon” blocking platform conducted under the ICPC mock algorithm contest format. The event was supported by the Jeju International Free City Development Center (Moon Dae Rim, President) and sponsored under the aegis of Jeju ICT Industry Association (Oh Tae Heon, President).

Mr. Kim Ji Hwan (Department of Computational Statistics) emerged as the presidential prize winner from the contest.

Other superior performance winners included Huh Ji Shik (Computer Engineering Majors), Kang Soo Yeon (〃) and special merit awardee Han Myung Hoon (Computer Education).

Director Song said that the event was held to build the SW capabilities of the students for their problem solving and job search needs.
