Jeju natural dying targeted for regional industry development

3년간 국비와 지방비 등 총 17억 2260만원 지원 1.72 billion won grant for 3-year project
Jeju National University announced today (July 22, 2020) that the Jeju natural dying industry was selected for further commercial development through ICT+Live Commerce (online marketing channel) application platform being pursued by the small and medium industry administration and Jeju Autonomous Government.
The project is to be carried out by the university with collaborative participations of Jeju Tourism Culture Promotion Institute, Nexteasy and Otbang groups.
The Jeju natural dying industry development project got the funding support of 522 million (from government agency) and the matching grant from the Jeju government for the first year, with a total funding of 1.72 billion worn for the 3-year project.
Specific task of the project to establish the sustainable growth basis for Jeju’s natural dye industry development includes:
△Development of digital tourism souvenirs
△ Product innovation and quality upgrading through collaborations
△On/offline marketing platform
△ Live commerce broadcasting, infrastructure establishing and academy operation
△Support for promising industrial package and start-up/venture
△On/offline publicity and marketing support.
Professor Hong Hee Sook of the Jeju National University Department of Fashion Clothing is in charge of implementing the natural-dye+Jeju-tourism+Jeju-industry packaging program.
There will be a briefing session to inform and select the eligible Jeju natural dye industrial affiliates for the project in the JNU department seminar hall 117 at 15:00, July 30, 2020.
