대학 지도받은 고교생들, 특허출원서 13건 작성 13 patent applications prepared by high schoolers

 

Jeju National University Intellectual Properties Education Leading University Project (Kim In Joong, Director) conducted the ”discovery patent mentoring” event in Jeju Frontier Industry Complex Semiyang Building last week (July 17, 2020).

 

The high school:JNU collegians teams took part in △idea consulting by experts △patent application, △individual team presentations on discovery ideas and planning of discovery patent filing.

 

Five high school teams with their discovery ideas generated were then mentored by the collegians previously educated in the intellectual properties and their patenting.

 

Following the mentoring procedure, JNU professors and Seogwipo Industry High School teachers got together to improve and work out the details of the teams’ discovery ideas for the preparation of the discovery statements and presentation.

 

To provide the discovery patent filing, Professors Kim In Joong, Lee Kwang Man, Lee Kwang Jin, Choi Min Joo, and Kim Hee Pill from their respective academic departments participated in consulting on the discovering applications: Choi Jin Ah, Lee Dong Sung, Lee Dong Soo, Moon Sung Ik, Oh Hyun Joo, Song Kwang Ho, Won Ji Won, Lee Tae Kyun and Lim Jin Ah from their respective industrial, engineering, biotechnology and fisheries departments.

 

Through the event, the Seogwipo high school students developed 13 discovery patent application drafts. Moon Sung Ik was named the best mentor and expressed his experience in the process which was highly educational and informative to him. He said he learned a lot from the experience.

 

Director Kim summarized the event by promising to cultivate the qualified intellectual properties professional through on/off line education for high school youths.
