Environmental Center offers education for allergy consultants

Jeju National University Environmental Public Health Center (Kang Jo Wan, Director) offered the 11th allergic disease consultant training program for some 30 public health personnel and regional government service staff in the JNU hospital auditorium last Friday (July 17, 2020).

The education program was co-sponsored under the aegis of Jeju Autonomous Government Environmental Disease Prevention and Control Center and Jeju National University Health Promotion Center. The program aimed at contributing to the public health in Jeju through training of the atopi and allergic disease consultants.

The training program covered:

△Allergic diseases (atopi skin inflammation, rhinitis, asthma and food allergy) and national environmental And public health policy

△Understanding, prevention and control of allergic diseases

△Allergic cases of patients and their families.

The JNU center has trained 296 allergy-related consultants and public health personnel since 2009.
