‘COVID-19’ 상황타개 초격차 교육 실현 Extreme untact COVID-19 education in progress

Jeju National University (Song Seok-Eon, President) announced last week (July 17, 2020) that under the sponsorship of Jeju International Free City Development Center (JDC) a 6-week internship program from July 20 through August 28 was implemented with the participation of A US software development corporation.

The internship and its curriculum have been arranged under the COVID-19 untact measures being taken at the JDC innovation growth center.

The SW leading university project office explained that the event being organized was to offer the opportunities for the students to participate in career-enhancing education and has been in preparation since February 2020 when COVID-19 pandemic erupted.

The internship corporation is a game software developer located in Los Altos, California. The project covers such topics as block chain, big data, artificial intelligence, and FinTech and financing. The program provides the students to be able to adapt in advance to untact business activities in their future professions. Four JNU students from the departments of computer engineering, computational statistics, and economics are expected to participate in the program.
