Tourism Digital Project completes its 2019 activities

콘텐츠ㆍ마케팅 지원 통해 지역기업 경쟁력 강화 Regional competitiveness invigorated through contents and marketing support Jeju National University Industry Academy Cooperation Headquarter (Doh Yang Hoe, Director)- Auxiliary Tourism Digital Contents Development Project (Prof. Lee Dong Cheol, Director) acknowledged the completion of the 2019 Intelligent Tourism Contents Upgrading and Marking Support Project held in Ramada Plaza Jeju Hotel earlier this week.
The project has been sponsored through the aegis of the Ministry of Small and Medium Industry and Jeju Autonomous Government aimed at upgrading the regional products and their marketing. The 350 million won project ultimately is expected to invigorate the regional economy through the development of regional specialized industries and creation of new jobs therefrom.
Specifically, the project provides support for △product upgrading, △marketing, △packaging (upgrading + marketing) with a grant support of minimally 8~maximally 35 million won per industry participant.
Ten Jeju industrial businesses participated in the project involving app development, online marketing, film image making, sculptures, goods development, contents development and hardware development.
Among the business participants, Neo-Internet acquired two sales contracts from the provincial organizations, and Med Venture showed its drone soccer stadium management in Jeju Airport.
Director Lee stated that the project would continue to offer programs aimed at supporting the regional economy particularly during the COVI-19 pandemic.
