Predoctoral Rellow Kim DE gets Future Ocean Scientist Award

Predoctoral Fellow Kim Dong Eon (Bae Yoon Hyeok, Supervisory Faculty Member) was awarded the best future ocean scientist award from the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries at the 2020 Korean Association of Ocean Science Societies Joint Conference held in BEXCO Center in Busan last week.

The award is presented to a master’s and/or doctoral degree candidates who published their research papers in internationally prestigious scientific journals. It is administered by major marine science and oceanographic societies in Korea.

Mr. Kim’s award-winning paper revolved around the mathematical and experimental research on the asymmetric shaped wave-power generating rotor and its linear patters involving the rotors installed around the shore of Jeju Island.
