779 degrees conferred at 2019 Fall commencement

송석언 총장 “성공하는 인생의 주인공 되길” 당부 “Be a Protagonist for Successful Life,” pleaded President Song

Jeju National University (Song Seok-Eon, President) conferred 515 baccalaureate, 20 Masters and 44 doctorate degrees at the 2019 Fall Semester Commencement.

Due to the COVI-19 pandemic, the commencement ceremony itself was cancelled.

For those who wish to have their commencement photographs, a “photo zone” and academic regalia were readied on the campus.

President Song delivered his commencement address through video imaging.

He said “‘Live with dream and hope backed by efforts and challenges. Be mindful of changing of the time and the changes while building the insight and the ability to adapt to them.”

“Have self-confidence and courage ultimately to be a maverick of successful life,” he asked.

The talk of the campus town was Kim Soo Ae (55) and her daughter Ko Seung Gwan (30) who earned a Doctor of Korean Language and Literature and a Korean Language Education, respectively.
