‘해양구조물 취업지원사업’ 참가자 환경정화 활동
Offshore construction jobs team active in cleaning environment

Jeju National University Marine Sports Center (Professor Kim Deok Jin, Director), under the aegis of Jeju Autonomous Government, performed offshore environmental cleaning activities as part of the offshore platform management jobs project in Seogwipo East Breakwater area last week (August 22, 2020).

The offshore platform management jobs project has been in action to install, maintain and repair/renovate the marine facilities through training of the industrial submergence and other offshore skills performers since 2018.

More than thirty participants present in the event also engaged in cleaning the offshore and underwater wastes.

Professor Oh Young Hoon of the JNU Department of Civil Engineering provided the opportunities for the participants to be deeply conscious of the offshore safety, environmental conservation, and of the volunteerism in offshore employment support service.
