공학혁신센터, ‘3D 설계 교육 아카데미’ 진행
Engineering Center provides 3D design education academy

Jeju National University Engineering Education Center (An Ki Joong, Director), WISET Jeju Regional Center (Lee Eun Joo, Director) and Halla University Engineering Technology Education Center (Kim Bo Kyun, Director) jointly held the 2020 3D design education academy on the campus of Jeju National University last months (July 27 through August 21).

The academy provided a special solid works design specialist for the engineering students, stimulating their interest in 3D design, major subject studies and design crafts. In addition, the academy aimed at cultivating innovative engineering students through implementing part of the fusion-technology education program.

The participating students received a 2-weeks/80 hours of educational program of solid works-based applications in △3D image making and editing skills and △handling of the design program with skills. The education program resulted in 11 and 14 students who qualified for internationally recognized semi-expertise (CSWA) and 14 expertise certificates (CSWP), respectively.

Director An said that the academy was instrumental in enhancing the students’ 3D design skills and acquiring solid work certifications useful in finding industrial jobs in Jeju.
