JNU makes 2021 THE World University Ranking

영국 타임즈고등교육 발표..올해 첫 참여 국내 23위 기록 23rd in first Korean university ranking in THE announcement

Jeju National University (Song Seok-Eon, President) has made the 2021 Times Higher Education (THE) list:The world 1001+ranked institutions with a 23^rd position among the Korean universities included in the list.

The THE world university ranking evaluated 1,527 universities from 93 countries.

‘THE’ evaluations are based on

▲educational conditions (30%)

▲research achievements (30%)

▲research publications citation (30%)

▲globalization (7.5%), and

▲industrial research revenues (2.5%).

In the UK originated ranking, Jeju National University made the world 1001+position rankings (23^rd) along with the Korean national university consortium members Chungbuk, Chungnam, Gyeongsang, Chonbuk, and Gangwon National Universities. 35 Korean universities made the rankings.

The university officials are committed to improve the world and other rankings with added emphasis in educational conditions and research outputs in the future.
