The University Jobs Plus Center at JNU, under the direction of Prof. Hyun Mi-yeul, Director of the Student Career & Employment Division, provided training for young people facing job challenges in Jeju. The training spanned three days on July 4, 5, and 17, focusing on 2024 recruitment trends and strategies for job success.
This program is a collaborative effort with Jeju Tomorrow, a social cooperative supported by the Youth Challenge Support Project, jointly promoted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province.
Jeju Tomorrow joined the Jeju Youth Job-related Council as a new participant in 2024. The Career Employment Division and University Job Plus Center has formed the council of youth job-related organizations in Jeju since 2016 to provide various career employment education services in cooperation with related organizations in the province. Through these efforts, the center continues to offer various programs aimed at empowering young people in Jeju to contribute to local community vitality through enhanced employment opportunities.
The University Jobs Plus Center and Student Career & Employment Division at JNU will expand the Jeju Youth Job Association by increasing the number of participating organizations. They will also establish a dedicated division focusing on capacity enhancement, employment support, and regional revitalization. This division aims to deliver a wide range of career and employment programs, fostering greater engagement and capabilities among local youth in 2024.
