Organized by the Future Education Division of the Office of Education & Innovation, the result briefing session on the "Jeju Olle Road and Self-Reflection" curriculum at the auditorium of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Center on June 21. The program was newly established and operated this year.

The curriculum is the course in which they design their career and study through mentoring activities while JNU students walk the Ollegil trail with the JNU Mentor Group.

On June 12, JNU President Kim Eel-hwan was invited as a celebrity to the ‘Talk Concert with Celebrity’ at Gunsan National University. He gave an enthusiastic lecture on "Jeju Ollegil and Self-Reflection - Changing University Education." He introduced the "Jeju Ollegil and Self-reflection" course and put the stress on the personality education, which is the background of the design and introduction of the curriculum.

The three-hour briefing meeting was run in two session. In the first session, the report on the progress of curriculum operation for the 2024 spring semester was presented and participants watched Ollegil class videos. The second session consisted of presentations of students' college life and career design and 'Nagging with Love to the Young' from mentors inside and outside JNU.

One student gained sympathy by saying, "I was able to look into my deep mind while walking down the Ollegil Trail on Jeju Island. Thank you to the mentors for the precious time and JNU president for providing us with this valuable learning experience, which is not just for studying on the desk.", adding, "I applied to this class to ease my burden, but I have concerned about it more. However, this is well worth consideration about my career and academic plans.“

JNU President Kim Eel-hwan said, "By checking students' satisfaction through the survey, listening to participation reviews, and being convinced that the course is justifiable, .JNU will make Ollegil class a signature course so that the course can be operated for a long time." He also added, "JNU plans to produce and distribute casebooks for course management, and considers the way to work with students from Korea NU 10."

The Jeju Ollegil and Self-reflection" course for the 2024 fall semester will be operated with 35 students, and JNU students can apply for classes in early August.
