JNU signed an exchange and cooperation agreement with Sanxian, Shandong Province, China

JNU Office of International Affairs (Director Kim Eun-hee) and Shanxian County, Shandong Province, China (population 1 million) signed an MOU in Seoul on June 16. About 20 key officials from both organizations, including County Governor Wei Zhenying and other government officials, attended the ceremony.
This agreement was established to create an exchange and cooperation network aimed at promoting cultural exchanges between Korea and China. Specifically, it focuses on facilitating student study abroad opportunities by fostering collaboration between JNU and Shanxian, China, and establishing a Korean language school at Shanxian Foreign Language School.
Eun-hee Kim, Director of the Office of International Affairs, said, “With this agreement, JNU held an entrance briefing session for the Global Autonomous Major, which is scheduled to recruit new students starting in September, for students from Shanxian, China.”, adding, “JNU will continue to provide support for active exchanges in various fields to attract Chinese students.”
