㈜크로넥스와 신약개발 연구장비 활용 업무협약
Equipment to be shared for drug development by CLONEX

Jeju National University (Song Seok-Eon, President) has signed the MOU with CLONEX (Son Young Joon, CEO) for collaborative drug development work through sharing the research equipment yesterday (October 30, 2020).

The university succeeded in luring the development of bio-health materials research center (Lee Dong Sun, Director) from the Ministry of Education Basic Science Supporting Core-Facility Center Projects, which would enable the CLONEX to take advantage of the center facility and equipment for its drug development research. The bipartisan collaborative contract is effective until 2026.

The collaborative research involves investigating efficacy of new drug materials through the use of cloned Jeju mini pig models and the center facilities and equipment.

Jeju National University also plans to take advantage of the collaborative opportunity to train new drugs specialists under BK21 sponsorship. Director Lee assured that the collaboration of this type could be expanded to work with other industrial specialists.
