‘블록체인 신금융서비스 수요와 미래 예측’ 세미나 개최
Seminar to discuss block chain new financing service: Need and Future

Jeju National University SW Fusion Education Institute (Song Wang Cheol, President) and Industry Academy Fusion Institute (Lee Nam Ho, President) presented a special lecture on DeFi (Decentralized Finance) based on block chain technology: Need and Future Prediction in the college of economics and commerce auditorium last Wednesday (November 18, 2020).

The event was sponsored by Jeju International Free City Development Center (JDC), Jeju Autonomous Government and Jeju Bank.

Special lectures were presented by Mr. Han Young Soo of Jeju Autonomous Government, Hyun Soo Young of Jeju Cripto, Nam Doo Wan of Makerdao and Sung Ki Joon of Ground X .

The special lectures were aimed at the JNU students for their understanding of the block chain technology and its implications in financial service area such as MICE industry in Jeju.

Institute President Song pointed out that the block chain program provided the opportunity for the JNU students to better equip themselves with the technology, along with AI, essential for the 4th Industrial revolutionary era, especially preparing them in their high quality internship chances.
